InnixAR is a pavilion on the IE University campus in Segovia that merges advanced Augmented Reality (AR) innovations with 4D funicular design. This approach allows vault craftsmen to construct masonry structures without physical guides or costly temporary molds. The pavilion features three intersecting curved vaults supported by fixed wooden ribs. Its design employs a sequential form-finding method grounded in craft constraints, using the thin-tile vaulting technique. Quick-setting plaster and lightweight terracotta tiles create elegant, thin compression structures. innixAR highlights the interplay between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary technological advancements in architectural design and construction.
